Lily the Athlete

I can't believe it's been so long since I've posted.
Here are a few pictures of Lily playing T-ball and one of Lily running to me after we visited her mothers grave to add flowers on Mother's Day. We still miss her mother so much.
Lily finished Kindergarten and has "stepped up" to First Grade for the Fall. She received her
diploma along with three superlative awards, including Physical Education! Where did that come from? LOL.

She was soooo nervous, determined not to smile.

I felt bad to leave her in a place where she knew no one.
Actually, neither did I.
I felt like a terrible parent.
I was glad my sister was teaching in the next building.

She is amazing, fighting her way up from 2 lbs. to her amazing
28 lbs, 38.5 inches!

She'll make it! Hey, wait, is she sitting at a table with 3 boys?
Fellas, back off now! That's my baby girl!
When she got home, she gave her Nanny the thumbs up and said it went Great!

Christmas with Lily

These two are even closer than they are sitting, even though Emily is a year younger in age.
As you can see, they play hard!

Lily Keeps On Growing!

Lily's small frame lets her still enjoy the smaller swings.
She finally reached 27 lbs!

She can be quite the lady, as seen in her white dress at an outdoor wedding.

Well, the manner in which she consumes cake may need a little work.

Last Christmas

This time of year is great for pictures. This is last Christmas with Lily being her expressive self. I can't wait for all the Halloween costume Pictures and the upcoming holidays.

August 2007 Trip to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg!

Pigeon Forge

Lily got to ride in the Engine of the Train!
She was swinging. . .

Lily has always enjoyed riding the carousels. This one is on the main strip
in Pigeon Forge and Wears Valley Road.

Gatlinburg, Tennessee

Ben Ogle's Farm
Lily enjoyed exploring the house and barn.Lily made good use of a stick she found along the trail.
Lily proved to be quite the hiker on Ogle's Farm. It was considerably rocky along the wooded trail that was probably about a mile long, up and down hill, and over a few brooks and bridges.We finally came to an old grist mill on the creek with Lily leading the way!
